The Product Sales report in Final Manage (under Reports > Product Sales) shows units sold, units refunded, net units, and gross sales for any period up to 366 days. You can filter by Outlet, Channel, Category, or Supplier, switch between By product, By supplier, and Line by line views, and export your filtered numbers to CSV.

## Key takeaways

- Open Reports > Product Sales in Final Manage to see units sold, units refunded, net units, and gross sales for any date range up to 366 days.
- Filter by Outlet, Station, Channel (In-store, Online, or All channels), Category, Supplier, or product name and SKU.
- Switch between By product, By supplier, and Line by line tabs, and click Download CSV to export the exact view on screen for supplier or artist payouts.
- The By product gross sales total plus the custom-amount sales line below it reconciles to the cent with your Financial Summary's Gross Sales.

The **product sales report** in Final Manage shows what sold, how many units came back as refunds, and how much gross revenue each item generated. You can view your numbers by product, group them by supplier to calculate consignment or artist payouts, or inspect every sale and refund line by line.

To open the report, sign in to Manage and go to **Reports** > **Product Sales**.

## Filter your product sales report

By default, the report opens on the last 30 days compared to the previous 30 days, filtered to in-store sales. Any filters you set stay in the page URL, so you can bookmark a view or share the link with a manager or bookkeeper.

At the top of the page, you can narrow the report using two rows of filters:

- **Date range**: Pick any period up to 366 days.
- **Compare**: Compare your selected dates against the previous period (default) or the same period last year.
- **Outlets and Stations**: Filter to specific Outlets or individual Stations.
- **Channel**: Choose **In-store** (default, matching the orders counted in your Financial Summary and End of Session reports), **Online**, or **All channels**.
- **Category**: Filter to a category, including any nested subcategories.
- **Supplier**: Filter to products linked to a specific supplier. If you run a gallery, market, or consignment store, pick an artist or supplier here to isolate their work for monthly payouts.
- **Product search**: Search by product name or SKU.

To download what you see on screen, click **Download CSV** in the top-right corner. The exported file matches the active tab, filters, and totals on your screen.

## Summary cards and chart

Above the table, four KPI cards summarize your selected period and show how it performed against your comparison window:

- **Net units**: Units sold minus units refunded.
- **Units refunded**: Total units returned during the selected period.
- **Gross sales**: Line price multiplied by quantity, before discounts and refunds.
- **Orders**: Completed, refunded, and partially refunded orders containing matching items. Parked and in-cart orders are never counted.

Below the cards, a daily chart tracks net units across your selected date range.

## Table views: By product, By supplier, and Line by line

Use the tabs above the table to switch between three views.

### By product

The **By product** tab lists each product (or variant) with its **Units sold**, **Units refunded**, **Net units**, **Gross sales**, **Discounts**, and **Fees**. Click any column header to sort.

A few accounting details to keep in mind:

- **Gross sales** uses the exact same basis as the Financial Summary and End of Session reports: line price times quantity, before item or order discounts and before refunds. Tax follows your store's display setting (tax-exclusive or tax-inclusive), and modifiers, tips, and fees are excluded from gross sales.
- **Custom-amount sales** (off-catalog charges rung up without a product) do not appear as product rows. Instead, their combined total appears on a dedicated line right below the **By product** table total. Adding the table total and the custom-amount line matches your Financial Summary's Gross Sales to the cent for the same dates and Stations.
- **Deleted products** still appear in your report under the product name saved on the original order line.
- **Timing of sales and refunds**: Sold units are counted on the date the order was placed. Refunded units are counted on the date the refund was processed. If a customer returns an item bought in an earlier month, net units for the current period can be zero or negative.

### By supplier

The **By supplier** tab groups sales by the suppliers linked to your product variants, making it easy to see what each supplier or consignment partner earned.

- **Total actually sold** sits at the top of the table so you always have the true store total.
- **Items with multiple suppliers**: We never split a single sale across multiple suppliers. If a product variant is linked to two suppliers, its full sales count under both supplier rows. When this happens, the supplier rows add up to more than **Total actually sold**, and a banner warns you about the overlap.
- **No supplier**: Products without a linked supplier are grouped together on the **No supplier** row.

Click a supplier row to filter the report down to that supplier's products.

### Line by line

The **Line by line** tab is an itemized log of every product sale and refund in your filtered range, sorted newest first. Each row shows the date and time, transaction type (**Sale** or **Refund**), receipt number, Outlet, quantity, and amount. You can also click any product in the **By product** tab to jump straight to its individual lines.
