The Merchant Hub Dashboard is the first page you see — a store overview of your sales, payments, top products, and staff. Pick a period and optionally compare it to the previous period or last year, jump into quick actions, and export the figures. Widgets show based on your permissions.

## Key takeaways

- The Dashboard is the first page of the Merchant Hub — a store overview of sales, payments, products, and staff, with widgets shown based on your permissions.
- Pick a period (Today, Yesterday, 7 Days, This Week, 30 Days, This Month, This Year) and optionally compare to the previous period or the same period last year.
- KPI cards show headline metrics like Gross Sales, Net Sales, Average Order, and Transactions, each with a percent-change badge.
- Widgets include Sales Overview, Top Products, Payment Methods, Staff Sales, Tax Breakdown, Outlet Comparison, and Recent Activity.
- Use Quick Actions to add a product, customer, or team member or open POS; export the dashboard (CSV, XLSX, or PDF); and refresh the data.

## What is the Merchant Hub Dashboard?

The Dashboard is the first page you see when you open the Merchant Hub. It greets you and gives a quick read on how your business is performing — sales, payments, top products, and staff — all on one page. Which widgets and metrics you see depends on your **permissions**: if your role doesn't grant a metric, the Dashboard tells you rather than showing it.

## Choosing the period

Use the **period selector** at the top right to set the date range: **Today**, **Yesterday**, **7 Days**, **This Week**, **30 Days**, **This Month**, or **This Year**.

Turn on **comparison** to measure the current period against the **previous period** or the **same period last year** — each KPI then shows a percent-change badge so you can see what's up or down.

## KPI cards

The headline metrics for the chosen period sit at the top — for example **Gross Sales**, **Net Sales**, **Average Order**, and **Transactions** — each with a percent-change badge against your comparison period.

## Widgets

- **Sales Overview** – how revenue trends across the period.
- **Top Products** – best sellers by revenue.
- **Payment Methods** – how customers pay.
- **Staff Sales** – top performers, with sales per staff member (sales not yet attributed to staff are flagged).
- **Tax Breakdown** – tax collected, grouped by tax group.
- **Outlet Comparison** – sales across outlets, when you have more than one.
- **Recent Activity** – your latest transactions (sales and refunds).

## Quick actions

A **Quick Actions** area lets you jump straight into common tasks — **Add product**, **Add customer**, **Invite team**, **Import data**, and **Open POS** — without leaving the Dashboard.

## Quick Start for new stores

A brand-new store sees a **Quick Start** banner: a short checklist to get you selling — create a product, add team members, activate card payments, and start selling. **Dismiss** it once you're set up.

## Export and refresh

- **Export** – use **Download → Export as** to save the Dashboard as **CSV**, **XLSX**, or **PDF**.
- **Refresh** – pull the latest figures with **Refresh data**.

**Q: What date ranges can I pick?**
A: Today, Yesterday, 7 Days, This Week, 30 Days, This Month, or This Year.

**Q: Can I export the Dashboard?**
