Open Merchant Hub → Reports → Transactions for the full transaction log. Set a date range, filter by outlet or payment type (Terminal, Tap to Pay, Cloud, Cash), or search, then review the cards (Total Transactions, Total Sales, Total Refunds, Average Value) and the Transaction Log of every sale and refund.

## Key takeaways

- Transactions (Reports → Transactions) is the full transaction log of every sale and refund for a period.
- Cards show Total Transactions, Total Sales (from order transactions), Total Refunds (from refund transactions), and Average Value (per transaction).
- The Transaction Log lists each transaction: Date & Time, Amount, Type (Sale or Refund), Payment Method, Outlet, Station, Order #, and Employee.
- Filter by date range and outlet, search transactions, filter by payment type (Terminal, Tap to Pay, Cloud, or Cash), or filter by card provider (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express).
- Sort the log by column, and export with Download (CSV, XLSX, or PDF).

## What the Transactions report shows

The Transactions report is your **full transaction log with filtering and export** — every individual sale and refund for the period.

**Cards**

- **Total Transactions** — the count in the selected period.
- **Total Sales** — from order transactions.
- **Total Refunds** — from refund transactions.
- **Average Value** — per transaction.

**Transaction Log**

The **Transaction Log** (it shows how many are listed, e.g. "Showing 15 of 15 transactions") lists each transaction with these columns:

- **Date & Time**
- **Amount**
- **Type** — Sale or Refund
- **Payment Method**
- **Outlet**
- **Station**
- **Order #**
- **Employee**

Several columns are sortable — click the arrows in the header (for example, Date & Time, Amount, Payment Method, Outlet, Station).

## Open and filter the report

1. In the Merchant Hub, go to **Reports** and open **Transactions**.
2. **Set the date range** for the period you want.
3. **Filter by outlet** — it defaults to **All outlets**.
4. **Narrow further** — use **Search transactions** to find a specific one, filter by **payment type** (Terminal, Tap to Pay, Cloud, or Cash), or filter by **card provider** (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express).

## Reading the log

Use the **Type** column to tell sales from refunds at a glance, and the **Payment Method**, **Outlet**, **Station**, and **Employee** columns to see how, where, and by whom each transaction was taken. Click anywhere on a transaction's **row** to open its **Transaction Details**: for a cash payment this shows the total, cash rounding, tendered amount, and change; for a card payment it shows the payment amount, transaction fee, net amount, processor, and the card (EMV) details such as brand, cardholder, and last four digits. The **Order #** link still opens the order itself rather than the Transaction Details. This is the report to use when you need to trace an individual transaction rather than period totals — it itemizes every movement of money, which makes it the most useful export for reconciling against your bank or accounting software.

## Exporting the report

Use the **Download** button to export the Transactions report as **CSV**, **Excel (XLSX)**, or **PDF**. For the full steps, see **How to export your reports**.

## FAQ

**Q: How do I narrow the list?**
A: Filter by outlet, filter by payment type (Terminal, Tap to Pay, Cloud, or Cash), filter by card provider (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express), or use Search transactions.

**Q: How is this different from Sales Breakdown?**
A: Transactions is a line-by-line log of every sale and refund; Sales Breakdown focuses on cards and charts.

**Q: Does it include refunds?**
A: Yes — each refund is its own row (Type = Refund), and Total Refunds is shown as a card.

**Q: Can I download it?**
A: Yes — export as CSV, Excel (XLSX), or PDF.
