In the Merchant Hub, open Billing and find the Payment Methods card. Click Add Card to add a credit or debit card. Your cards show as a list — select one to make it your Default, and use the trash icon to remove a card you no longer use. Your default card is what's charged for your subscription and fees.

## Key takeaways

- Manage your billing cards in the Payment Methods card under Billing.
- Click Add Card to add a new credit or debit card; a card you add becomes your default automatically.
- Select a card in the list to make it your Default — that's the card charged for billing.
- Remove a card with its trash icon, then confirm in the Remove Payment Method dialog.
- One card always stays on file as your default — to remove your current default, make another card the default first.

## Where to manage your cards

Your billing cards live in the **Payment Methods** card under **Billing**, where you can see and manage the cards on file for your company. Like the rest of billing, your cards are managed **per company** if you have more than one.

## Add a card

1. In the Merchant Hub, open **Billing** and find the **Payment Methods** card.
2. Click **Add Card** at the top right of the card.
3. In the **Add Payment Method** dialog, enter your **credit or debit card** details and click **Add Card**. The card is added securely, and you'll see "Payment method added successfully."

A card you add becomes your **default** automatically, so it's ready to be charged for billing.

## Set your default card

Your cards appear as a list, each with a selector. Select the card you want charged and it becomes your **Default** — the current default is marked **Default**. The default is the card used for your **subscription and fees**, so keep a card that won't expire soon as your default.

## Remove a card

Click the **trash icon** on the card you want to remove, then confirm in the **Remove Payment Method** dialog by clicking **Remove**. You'll see "Payment method removed."

One card always stays on file as your default. If you want to remove the card that's currently your default, first select another card as your default — then you can remove the old one.

## If a payment fails

If your default card is declined or expires, billing can fail and the Billing page shows a status banner such as **Payment Past Due**. To fix it, add a new card or select a different card as your default, then resolve any outstanding invoice. You can change your billing card at any time — the new default takes effect for your next charge.
