The End of Session Report, sometimes referred to as the Z-Report, is a summary of the POS activity that took place during the session. The session begins when you open your Station, and ends when the Station is closed. In this article we’ll refer to this report as EOS for short.
EOS is composed of the following sections, each of which is meant to provide meaningful insight into the session’s sales activity:

| Gross Sales | Pre-tax value of all products sold during the session, not including RETURNS or DISCOUNTS. Think “what was the value of products sold today?” |
| Discounts | This is the sum of all pre-tax discounts applied during the session. |
| Returns | This is Gross Refunds. Pre-tax value of products returned during the session. |
| Net Sales | Sum of the lines above: Gross Sales – Returns – Discounts = Net Sales |
| Tax Collected | This number should be NET of returns and should match the total tax amount from TAX BREAKDOWN |
| Refunded Tax | This is the taxable portion of Total Refunds (Gross Returns + Refunded Tax = Total Refunds) |
| Cash Rounding | This is the sum of all rounding adjustments made during the session, based on the rounding rules set in Hub. |
| Total Transaction | This is Net Sales + Total Taxes + Cash Rounding + Tips |
This section is an overview of the session’s NET payments after refunds. For each payment type listed, the number shown should be equal to the payments collected minus payments refunded.
e.g. Cash = Cash Payments – Cash Refunds
This is an overview of all cash activity that took place during the session.

| Opening Float | Amount input by the opening user when the session started. |
| Cash Payments | Total cash payments received including adjustments due to cash rounding. |
| Cash Refunds | Total cash that was refunded during the session, including taxes. |
| Cash Added | This is the sum of all positive float adjustments. |
| Cash Removed | This is the sum of all negative float adjustments. |
| Expected Cash Amount | Opening Float + NET Cash Payments + NET Float Adjustments |
| Counted Cash Over/Under | This is the +/- difference between the expected vs actual cash drawer amount. |
| Closing Cash Amount | This is the actual counted amount of cash in the cash drawer. |
This section shows all manual adjustments to the cash drawer balance due to adding and/or removing cash. Details include the time of the float adjustment, how much was added or removed, and by whom.
This section is a detailed view of sales and tax figures separated by tax rate.

This section shows total refunds separated by the payment method of which the refund was issued.
This section shows the number of orders processed and gross sales for each user that was logged in during the session.
This section shows the discounts separated by type, before taxes.
