Privacy Statement

We collect account information you provide (name, email, business details), product usage data (pages visited, features used, device and browser metadata), and information needed to process payments through Stripe. We do not collect cardholder data ourselves — Stripe handles that directly under PCI DSS.

We use your data to operate and improve Final, authenticate you, provide customer support, send service-related communications, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Marketing emails are sent only with consent and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We never sell personal data.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: (a) contract — to provide the services you signed up for, (b) legitimate interests — to keep Final secure and improve it, (c) legal obligation — for tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requests, and (d) consent — for optional marketing and cookies.

We share data only with vendors who help us run Final under written contract: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and standard analytics/error-reporting tools. We never share data for ad targeting. Where required by law we may disclose data to public authorities.

Final is operated from the United States. When personal data is transferred outside the EU/UK/EEA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.

Depending on where you live, you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, portability, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent. Submit a request to privacy@finalpos.com and we will respond within 30 days.

We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 7 years afterwards to comply with tax and accounting laws. Usage logs are retained for up to 24 months. Backups roll off within 90 days.

Final is a business product and is not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We will post any material changes here and, where required, notify you by email. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
