Build is now Flow, and Builder is now Flow Studio

Final has renamed its POS builder from Build to Flow and the canvas editor from Builder to Flow Studio. Here is what changed and where to find everything.

What changed

The tool you use to build a point of sale has a new name. Build is now Flow, and the canvas where you describe, preview and refine your checkout is now Flow Studio. Nothing about how the tool works has changed, only the labels.

Why the change

A flow is what you build: the checkout experience your Stations run. Naming the tool after the thing it produces keeps the vocabulary simple. You open Flow, build in Flow Studio, browse ready-made flows in the Flow Library, and find your own under Your Flows.

Where to find everything

  • Flow sits in the main navigation on finalpos.com. Existing links and bookmarks keep working.

  • Flow Studio opens when you start a prompt or open an existing flow.

  • Flow Library is where you find and install a ready-made flow.

  • Your Flows lists every flow you have built or installed.

What has not changed

Your flows, versions and deployments are untouched. Connecting your own AI over MCP works exactly as before. Help center articles are being updated to the new names, so you may still see "Build" in a few places for a little while.
