How to import products in bulk

Bulk-import products into the Merchant Hub — upload a CSV or Excel file, map your columns to fields, preview the changes, and run the import.

Before you begin

Prepare a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file of your products, with column headers in the first row (the importer reads the headers to map your data). You'll need permission to manage products / import data.

How to import products

  1. In the Merchant Hub, go to Settings → Import / Export and choose Import Data.

  2. Choose what to import — select Products.

  3. Upload your file — a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file. Drag and drop or choose a file. The first row must contain column headers. (You can also paste rows copied from Excel or Google Sheets.)

  4. Map your columns — match each File Column to the matching field in your store, then continue. If you've imported before, you can apply a saved column mapping.

  5. Preview the changes — review the Changes Preview and resolve any duplicates (for example, fill empty fields from the import into existing records). You can run a Dry run (preview only) to check the outcome without saving.

  6. Run the import — start it. A progress screen shows the status (you can cancel mid-way), and you'll see Import Complete with the results when it finishes.
