How to read your Transactions report

Read the Transactions report in the Merchant Hub — the full transaction log of individual sales and refunds, with totals, search, filters, and export.

What the Transactions report shows

The Transactions report is your full transaction log with filtering and export — every individual sale and refund for the period.

Cards

  • Total Transactions — the count in the selected period.

  • Total Sales — from order transactions.

  • Total Refunds — from refund transactions.

  • Average Value — per transaction.

Transaction Log

The Transaction Log (it shows how many are listed, e.g. "Showing 15 of 15 transactions") lists each transaction with these columns:

  • Date & Time

  • Amount

  • Type — Sale or Refund

  • Payment Method

  • Outlet

  • Station

  • Order #

  • Employee

Several columns are sortable — click the arrows in the header (for example, Date & Time, Amount, Payment Method, Outlet, Station).

Open and filter the report

  1. In the Merchant Hub, go to Reports and open Transactions.

  2. Set the date range for the period you want.

  3. Filter by outlet — it defaults to All outlets.

  4. Narrow further — use Search transactions to find a specific one, or filter by payment type: Terminal, Tap to Pay, Cloud, Cash, or Custom Payment.

Reading the log

Use the Type column to tell sales from refunds at a glance, and the Payment Method, Outlet, Station, and Employee columns to see how, where, and by whom each transaction was taken. This is the report to use when you need to trace an individual transaction rather than period totals — it itemizes every movement of money, which makes it the most useful export for reconciling against your bank or accounting software.

Exporting the report

Use the Download button to export the Transactions report as CSV, Excel (XLSX), or PDF. For the full steps, see How to export your reports.
