How to send a payment link on Final Terminal

Send Payment Link lets you send a payment link on Final Terminal when the customer isn't in front of you with their card. You enter the amount and the customer's email, and Final Terminal creates a Final Pay payment link and emails it to them to pay on their own device, with no card reader required. It's the fourth option on the Final Terminal home screen, alongside Quick Charge, Quick Refund, and MOTO.

When should I use a payment link?
A payment link is a card-not-present way to get paid. It's useful for phone orders, invoices, deposits, or any time the customer will pay remotely rather than tapping or inserting a card at your counter. Because the customer enters their own card details on a secure Final Pay payment page, you never handle the card, and you don't need a reader connected.
How do I send a payment link?
On the Final Terminal home screen, tap Send Payment Link.
Enter the amount to charge. Final Terminal shows the subtotal, tax, and total.
Enter the customer's email address.
Send the link. Final Terminal confirms with "Payment link sent to [email]."
The customer opens the emailed link and pays on their own device through the secure Final Pay payment page.
Once they pay, the payment settles through Final Pay like any card payment and appears in your transactions.
