How to take a MOTO payment on Final Terminal
MOTO (Mail Order / Telephone Order) is one of Final Terminal's three options, for keyed card-not-present payments. Choose MOTO, enter the amount for the transaction, then enter the customer's card details to charge the card. MOTO payments are available in Final Terminal.
What is MOTO?
MOTO stands for Mail Order / Telephone Order — a keyed, card-not-present payment where you type in the customer's card details rather than having them tap or insert a card. It's one of the three options in Final Terminal, useful for taking a card over the phone or from a written order.
How to take a MOTO payment
From the Final Terminal home screen, choose MOTO.
Enter the amount for the transaction.
Enter the customer's card details — card number, expiry, CVC, and postal code.
Submit to charge the card.
