How to take a MOTO payment
Take a keyed, card-not-present (MOTO) payment in Final Terminal — enter the transaction amount, then key in the customer's card details to charge it.
What is MOTO?
MOTO stands for Mail Order / Telephone Order — a keyed, card-not-present payment where you type in the customer's card details rather than having them tap or insert a card. It's one of the three options in Final Terminal, useful for taking a card over the phone or from a written order.
How to take a MOTO payment
From the Final Terminal home screen, choose MOTO.
Enter the amount for the transaction.
Enter the customer's card details — card number, expiry, CVC, and postal code.
Submit to charge the card.
