How to Take Quick Payments from Station Home

From Station Home, tap Quick Charge, Quick Refund, Manual Entry or Payment Link to take or refund a Final Pay payment without opening a cart. Enter the amount, follow the on-screen prompts, and the terminal or payment link handles the rest. All four actions sit directly on the Station Home screen of any Station running Final Pay.

Quick payments from Station Home

Station Home lets you take payments four ways without opening a cart or building an order. The quick payment actions are available on any Station running Final Pay.

How do I take a Quick Charge?

Use Quick Charge for a fast card-present sale with no line items.

  1. From Station Home, tap Quick Charge.

  2. Enter the sale amount. Tax applies automatically based on your tax settings, and the total updates before you proceed.

  3. Choose a preset tip, enter a custom amount, or skip the tip.

  4. Tap Charge. The request goes to your payment terminal.

  5. On approval, a receipt appears. Tap Done to return to Station Home.

If the payment is declined, the Station shows the reason and lets you retry or cancel. If the connection drops mid-charge, the Station shows an error and blocks any duplicate transaction, so the customer is never charged twice.

How do I issue a Quick Refund?

  1. From Station Home, tap Quick Refund.

  2. Find the transaction by order number or amount.

  3. Choose whether to include the tip in the refunded amount.

  4. Confirm. The refund goes back to the original payment method and a refund receipt is available to print or email.

How do I key in a card for a phone or mail order?

Manual Entry (MOTO) is for orders where the card is not present.

  1. From Station Home, tap Manual Entry.

  2. Enter the amount.

  3. Key in the card number, expiry and security code. The card brand is detected as you type and each field is checked before you can submit.

  4. Tap Charge and wait for approval. Email the receipt to the customer if they want one.

Keyed-in payments carry a higher processing rate than tapped or inserted cards, so use the terminal when the customer is with you.

How do I send a Payment Link?

  1. From Station Home, tap Payment Link.

  2. Enter the amount.

  3. Enter the customer's email address or mobile number.

  4. Tap Send. The customer receives a link, pays on their own device, and the payment appears in your transactions once it completes.

Where do these payments show up?

All four actions run on Final Pay and appear in your Station's transactions and in Reports in the Merchant Hub, alongside your cart-based sales.
