Introducing Final Preview
Introducing Final Preview — a way to use brand-new Final POS features early, while we shape them together. Here's what the tag means and what to expect.
We're introducing Final Preview — a way to put brand-new Final POS capabilities in your hands early, while we're still shaping them together. If you've spotted the Final Preview tag in the product, here's what it means and what to expect.
What Final Preview is
When a feature shows the Final Preview tag, we've built it and you can use it today — but it's still finding its final form. We release in Preview when we want a new capability in your hands early, while we're still learning what the best version of it looks like.
This is different from a beta. A beta is a feature that's already shaped and waiting for the last round of testing. A Preview is a feature whose shape we're still working out — with the people who'll actually use it, like you.
What to expect
A Final Preview feature is real, working software. But because it's earlier in its life, a few things are worth knowing:
The interface and behavior can shift between updates as we learn what works.
You may hit rough edges we haven't smoothed yet.
Some Preview features grow into permanent parts of Final POS. Others get reshaped along the way, and a small number don't make it through — we'll always tell you in advance if one is being retired.
We rely on what you tell us. Your feedback on a Preview feature carries more weight than feedback on anything else, because it directly shapes what we ship next.
What stays rock-solid
Final Preview only applies to new capabilities at the edges of the platform. The tools you run your business on every day — payments, orders, reports, settlements, your POS — are not in Preview and never will be. They stay reliable and stable.
How to try it
Look for the Final Preview tag in the product — then tell us what you think. You're helping shape what Final POS becomes next.
