Introduction to Media Library

What is the Media Library?

The Media Library is where all your images live in the Merchant Hub — product photos, category images, and logos. Upload an image once and reuse it across your catalog without uploading it again. Open it under Manage → Media.

Uploading images

Drag and drop images anywhere on the page, or use the upload zone. Supported files are PNG, JPG, WebP, or GIF, up to 5 MB each. You can expand or collapse the upload zone as you work.

Finding images

• Switch views — toggle between grid and table views.

• Search — by name, title, or alt text.

• Filter — by format/type, folder, orientation (Landscape, Portrait, or Square), and source.

• Sort — Newest or Oldest first, Name A–Z / Z–A, Title A–Z / Z–A, or Largest / Smallest first.

Image details

Select an image to open its detail panel, where you can:

• Set its Title, Alt text (describe the image for accessibility), and Description.

• See its Dimensions, Format, Size, Source, and Folder.

• Copy URL, Download it, Open it in a new tab, or Delete it.

Open any image fullscreen in the lightbox, and page through your images with Next and Previous.

Bulk actions

Select several images at once (Select all or Select item) to act on them together, then Clear selection when you're done.
