How to migrate from Clover

Migrate from Clover in the Merchant Hub — connect your Clover account, start the migration, and Final imports your products and categories in the background.

When you migrate from Clover, Final brings your Clover products and categories across so you can sell them at your stations without rebuilding your menu by hand. You connect your Clover account, start the migration, and Final imports your catalog in the background.

What comes over from Clover

A Clover migration imports:

  • Products

  • Categories

Final shows a per-item summary when the import finishes, so you can see how many products and categories were added.

How the connection works

In the Clover connect panel, select Connect Clover to link your Clover account and authorize the connection. Once it's linked, the panel shows Connected to Clover and the migration option appears. Nothing is imported until you choose Start migration, so connecting on its own is safe, and you can select Disconnect at any time.

Good to know

  • Products arrive with stock tracking off. Stock levels aren't imported, so set your quantities in Final after the migration to keep your counts accurate.

  • Your history stays in Clover. Orders, discounts, and gift cards aren't part of a migration — it brings across the products and categories you'll sell with in Final going forward.

  • Customers aren't included. A Clover migration brings your catalog (products and categories); add or import your customers separately in Final if you need them.

  • You can run it again. After a migration you can choose Start migration again from the Clover panel; re-running updates what's already in Final rather than duplicating it.

After the migration

Open Manage → Products to review your imported products and categories and set your stock quantities. From there your Clover catalog behaves like any other product in Final — ready to sell at your stations.

Step by step

  5. 5

Let it run in the background

The import runs in the background, so you can keep working. You'll see "Importing your catalog from Clover…" while it runs and "Import complete" when it finishes, with a summary of what was added.

  6. 6

    Review and set stock

Open Manage → Products to review your imported products and categories, then set your stock quantities in Final.
