How to migrate from Square
Migrate from Square in the Merchant Hub — connect your Square account, start the migration, and Final imports your products (with stock), categories, and customers in the background.
When you migrate from Square, Final brings your Square catalog across so you can start selling in Final without rebuilding it by hand. You connect your Square account once, start the migration, and Final imports everything in the background while you keep working.
What comes over from Square
A Square migration imports the parts of your store you sell with every day:
Products, including their stock levels
Categories that organize those products
Customers from your Square customer directory
Final shows a per-item summary when the import finishes, so you can see exactly how many products, categories, and customers were added.
How the connection works
Square connects with a secure sign-in. When you select Connect Square, Final sends you to Square to authorize the connection — you approve it with your existing Square login, then land back in Final showing Connected to Square. Nothing is imported until you choose Start migration, so connecting on its own is safe. You can select Disconnect at any time.
Good to know
Multi-location stock is combined. If you track stock across more than one Square location, Final receives a single total quantity per item rather than a per-location breakdown. Review your quantities after the import.
Your history stays in Square. Orders, discounts, gift cards, and loyalty aren't part of a migration — it brings across the catalog and customers you'll sell with in Final going forward.
You can run it again. After a migration you can choose Start migration again from the Square panel. Re-running updates the records already in Final instead of duplicating them, so it's safe to repeat if your Square catalog changes.
After the migration
Open Manage → Products to review your imported products and categories and confirm your stock counts. Your imported customers appear under Manage → Customers. From there your Square catalog behaves like any other product in Final — ready to sell at your stations.

Open Manage → Products to check your imported products, categories, and customers, and confirm your stock quantities.

It imports your products (including stock), categories, and customers. It runs in the background, and Final shows a summary of what was added when it finishes.
Does my Square sales history come over?
No. Orders, discounts, gift cards, and loyalty stay in Square. A migration brings across the catalog and customers you'll use in Final going forward.
