Terminal Menu Overview

The Final Terminal menu — your open-session summary and a Close session button, plus links to Transactions, Sessions, and Settings, and the option to switch users.

What's in the Final Terminal menu?

Open the menu from the Final Terminal home screen. It's organized into a session summary at the top, navigation links, and device settings.

Session status

At the top, the menu shows whether a session is open, the signed-in user, and a summary of the session:

  • The session total (for example, CA$1.77).

  • The number of sales, the tips collected, and how long the session has been open (for example, "2 sales · CA$0.27 tips · 1h 15m").

  • A Close session button to end the session.

Navigate

  • Transactions — review the payments taken on this terminal.

  • Sessions — review past session reports.

Device

  • Settings — configure the terminal.

Your account

At the bottom, the menu shows the signed-in user and their role (for example, Organization_owner), and lets you switch users.
