Terminal Menu Overview

The Final Terminal menu shows your open session at the top — the user, session total, sales, tips, and how long it's been open — with a Close session button. Below that, NAVIGATE links to Transactions and Sessions, DEVICE opens Settings, and the footer shows the signed-in user and lets you switch users.

What's in the Final Terminal menu?

Open the menu from the Final Terminal home screen. It's organized into a session summary at the top, navigation links, and device settings.

Session status

At the top, the menu shows whether a session is open, the signed-in user, and a summary of the session:

  • The session total (for example, CA$1.77).

  • The number of sales, the tips collected, and how long the session has been open (for example, "2 sales · CA$0.27 tips · 1h 15m").

  • A Close session button to end the session.

Navigate

  • Transactions — review the payments taken on this terminal.

  • Sessions — review past session reports.

Device

  • Settings — configure the terminal.

Your account

At the bottom, the menu shows the signed-in user and their role (for example, Organization_owner), and lets you switch users.
