How to view session reports

Review past sessions on your Final Terminal — open Sessions from the menu, filter by date, search, and tap a session to open its report.

How to view session reports

  1. Open the menu and tap Sessions.

  2. Choose a time range at the top — Today, This Week, or All.

  3. Use the search box to find a session if needed.

  4. Tap a session to open its full report.

Each row in the list shows the session's time, its total, the session number, and the number of transactions (for example, "Session 0034 · CA$0.00 · 0 txn").

What's in a session report

A session report is the close-out summary for one trading period (one shift). It includes:

  • Details — when the session opened and closed, and who opened and closed it.

  • Sales — Gross Sales, Net Sales, Gross Taxable Sales, and Discounts.

  • Fees Summary — cart and product fees by type.

  • Payments — payments and net payments, the Final Pay payment total, processing fees, and the net payout expected (Card Processing Summary).

  • Transactions — the payment and refund transactions in the session, including any refunded tips.

  • Cash Drawer summary — on terminals that support cash management: opening cash, cash payments and refunds, cash added or removed, the expected vs. counted closing cash, and any over/under.

You can Print Report from the session report.

The Cash Drawer summary appears only on terminals that support cash management.
