Terminal Settings overview

Opening Settings

Open the menu and tap Settings (under DEVICE). Settings are grouped into TERMINAL and ADVANCED, with a Reset Device option at the bottom.

General

Your business, location, and station details, plus appearance:

• Company — Company Name, Industry, Country.

• Location / Outlet — Outlet Name, Address, Phone.

• Station — Station Name and status.

• Appearance — Dark Mode.

Printer

Manage the receipt printer for this terminal:

• See your connected printer and its status (Connected, Connecting, Offline, Error), plus your saved printers.

• Set the paper size and paper type (receipt or label paper).

• Test Print a preview, Configure, Retry Connection, Check Status, or Disconnect a printer.

Receipts

Customize receipts and printing behavior:

• Auto-print after payment and Auto-print merchant copy.

• Prompt for Email at checkout.

• Header Text and Footer Text for the receipt.

Payment terminal

Manage the card reader / payment terminal connected to this device.

Environment Data

Device and environment information for support and diagnostics — for example App Version, Build Number, Battery Level and Status, Available Storage, Connected Reader, Customer Display, Company ID, and Current User.

Tax

Control tax on this terminal:

• Turn Apply Taxes on or off.

• Choose the selected tax table from the available tax tables (each with its rates); a Default table is available.

Advanced Settings

• Kiosk Mode — locks the device to this app only.

• Stripe Settings.

Reset Device

At the bottom of Settings, Reset Device resets the terminal.

How do I open Settings? From the menu, tap Settings under DEVICE.

Where do I set up receipts? Open Receipts to turn on auto-print, prompt for email, and set header/footer text.

Where do I manage the printer? Open Printer to see the connected printer, set paper size/type, and run a test print.

What does Reset Device do? It resets the terminal; it's at the bottom of the Settings list.
