How to update your billing payment method
Update your billing payment method in the Merchant Hub — add a credit or debit card, set your default, and remove cards you no longer use.
Where to manage your cards
Your billing cards live under Billing → Payment Methods, where you can see and manage the cards on file for your company. Like the rest of billing, your billing payment method is managed per company if you have more than one.
Add a payment method
In the Merchant Hub, open Billing and go to Payment Methods.
Choose Add Payment Method to add a new credit or debit card to your account.
Enter your card details and save. The card is added securely.
Set your default card
Set the card you want charged as your Default payment method. The default is the card used for your subscription and fees, so make sure it's a card that won't expire soon.
Remove a card
Use Remove Payment Method on any card you no longer want on file. Keep at least one valid card as your default so billing doesn't fail.
If a payment fails
If your default card is declined or expires, billing can fail and you may see a status banner such as Payment Past Due on the Billing page. To fix it, add a new card or set a different card as your default, then resolve any outstanding invoice. You can change your billing payment method at any time — the new default takes effect for your next charge.
